A lady called me last week frantically asking advice on handling skunks that had taken up residence underneath her cabin. “Skunks,” I informed her, “not only are a smelly problem, they also can carry many diseases including rabies. The best way to get rid of them is to play the worst music you can find on a radio or another device and set it near where they are living.”
That advice applies to other unwanted critters, too. Wildlife does not like noise. Playing music loudly will prompt them to leave and do so faster than you can imagine. Wind chimes also help. If you have wildlife that you don’t want around, reach for a radio or device, set it to music you hate, and allow that to blast in the area you want them to vacate.
It works every time.
